Oh my goodness, I can't believe I forgot Gifted Gorgeousness!!! This is the time we share what we have been gifted with or are gifting others. I guess it's in the back of my mind because most of the gifts I've been working on are for others and haven't been sent out yet. Still I'll post a few I've made this past month. This is hosted by Jo over at Serendipitous Stitching (click here) who very kindly has hosted this for a few years now. I'm still shaking my head that I forgot!!
Where do I begin? Since the last GG post I have finished a Baby's First Ornament for Baby Quinn. This is an adaptation of Happy Holidays by Sue Hillis stitched on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha over two. I love how it turned out and my DIL loved it!
I also finished three JCS Ornaments from the 2023 Ornament Issue. First was Comfort and Joy from My Big Toe designs stitched on 40 count Vintage Pecan Butter over two.
Next was Gentle Glow by Gentle Pursuits stitched on 46 Bergen Flax over two.
And last was Santa Moon by Needle Bling Designs stitched on 28 count Storm over one. It was finished in a gifted snowflake frame.
I fully finished a few items that the chart was gifted to me. First was Give Thanks by Primrose Cottage...finished in a frame I found at Hobby Lobby. I love this one!!
The other were the Gobbletons, a pattern that was gifted to me and was finished on a charcuterie board I also found at Hobby Lobby.
I fully finished this ornament that was gifted to my husband for our tree. He loved it, and placed it in the front of the tree as soon as I gave it to him.
I've been talking about it all month so far, I have been getting "gifts" from the Advent Box and I can hardly wait to start stitching on some of those. I have two others that I have fully finished, but I'll save them for after the person they are intended for gets them. Whew...I know you've seen most of these before...hopefully the next GG post will have something you haven't seen before! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season! Happy Stitching!!
