Advent Day 15

It's the third Sunday of Advent and today we celebrate Joy.  Philippians 4:4-5 says, "Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near."  We can have joy amidst the trials when we are confident The Lord has it all under control.  I say it often, I'm thankful I know The Lord, as this life hasn't been an easy one.  He has seen me through so much and I can honestly say I'm thankful for every moment that has sculpted me into the person I am today.

Hey, I realized a couple of days ago that the Nativity calendar is supposed to be a countdown calendar...lol.  Oh well, this year I'm celebrating days...next year I hope I'll get it right...hahaha.  Thanks for being gracious and not telling me I was doing it wrong...haha.

Today's Advent Box goodie is so cute!  I think I'll go against convention and use the different buttons on separate projects.  I have visions of what I'll be doing with them!  Pictures are in the Advent Box page.

Yesterday turned out to be a extremely long day but we accomplished so much!!  Other than a few little stocking stuffers I think I'm pretty much done shopping.  I found some things I wasn't sure I would find...and we even got to see a movie we've been wanting to see.  I don't like to be in crowded places, so it was good that DH could come with me, but also bad since he saw some of his gifts.  I still have a few surprises for him though!!  I didn't get far with my stitching, but hopefully today I will make more progress.  We are supposed to help the kids move a chair to another level of their house today.  We will see how that goes.

Take care everyone!  Till tomorrow...Happy Stitching!
