Advent Day 16

Happy Monday!  And welcome to Advent Day 16.  Today the gift from the Advent Box was from Primitive Hare.  Her patterns are very interesting, and I've got a few from her here and there.  I have to say, this one threw me for a loop...lol.  The only thing that says Christmas (and it wasn't REALLY Christmas...more seasonal) to me was the snowflake in her hand.  You can see the pattern on the Advent Box page listed above.  I'm not sure what I'll be doing with it...decisions, decisions.  Let me know what YOU think.  

We are inching ever closer to the big day!  Just when I think I'm done shopping, I think of something else I need to get.  LOL!!  I should make lists, but I'm scatterbrained lately.  The kids needed a few things yesterday but I begged off and stayed home.  Pappy made the ultimate sacrifice to go out in the cold.  I'm not sure why I'm so tired lately, but I just couldn't go another day...so I rested...and stitched!  I'm so close to being finished with the top layer of this newest project, I can't wait!!  A little more fencing and then the cutting and weaving....the part that makes me most nervous.  Wish me luck!!  

I was asked what movie we saw yesterday, it was Moana 2.  Our granddaughter loved the first one and goes around humming "You're welcome" quite often.  LOL  I have to say, I was so disappointed with this one.  I'm actually disappointed in Disney all together.  I wouldn't recommend taking kids to this one in all honesty.  It was a bit intense and really none of the songs were "catchy".  A true disappointment for me.  But that's just me...moving on...  DH is back to work today, so I'm left to my own devices.  I'll be upstairs watching Christmas movies and (hopefully) finishing the top portion of Christmas House.  Perhaps I'll wrap a few gifts that we have already to go.  What is on your agenda today?  I hope some of the time is stitching!  Take care!
