Hi fellow crazies wherever you may be!!
I had a wonderful day visiting with Astrid...I taught her how to stretch and pin a finished piece, and she taught me a new way to make tuna salad. Keep feeding me like that, my dear, and you'll have to build an extra room on your house for me and my stash! LOL
We didn't get much stitching done, but I did manage to make another start...this is Winter from Filigram. The second to last visit to my LNS I was snagged by my BIF (bad influence friend) Sonya, who told me this pattern had my name written all over it. I am stitching it on 36 ct Flax over two using the recommended Gentle Arts threads. I LOVE the way this is coming out, though you can't really see it well in this picture. It will be hard to go back to another start tomorrow.
And on that note I must get ready to take DS to youth group tonight. I have a date with my DH...and a class to attend. See you soon!

Oh, how fun! Can I come over and have you teach me how to stretch and pin a finished piece, too??? : ) Good for you to keep going with the starts. You are going to have a wonderful pile of finishes come year end!

As usual you've started another wonderful piece - nice choice, Sonya!

Yum, tuna salad! I love to put grated apple in mine, and serve it on a bed of lettuce leaves.

I've never seen this design before nor heard of the designer. I think it's beautiful. Look forward to your progress on it.
