Here I am again...still at the Crazy January Challenge!! I hope all the crazies out there are still hanging in there and enjoying the challenge.
I finally got my stitching day with my buddy Sonya! Hi Sonya! *waving* I hope you are feeling better!!! Sonya and I got together today, even though she's under the weather. She didn't tell me that until I was already there. You're a trooper Sonya! But we haven't seen each other in such a long time we just HAD to have a little stitch time and girl talk. You ladies know what I mean, right? While I was there, Sonya surprised me with an amazing gift. I admired this when I first saw it, and loved it so much I bought the kit and sent it to a friend for her birthday. So what did Sonya do? She bought the model from the shop to give to me, and the proceeds from the model sale went to a charitable organization in the area. WOW!! That's the gift that keeps on giving!! I was so surprised you could have knocked me over with a feather! Thank you so much Sonya, I can't wait to display it where I can admire it every time I see it. I LOVE IT!!! Isn't it an amazing finish? I wish I could do this, it's astounding what a finish job will do for your stitching!
Ok, back to day seven. I could NOT decide what to do today, I'm in such a state of confusion...for one of my pieces I wasn't sure if I had enough thread (turns out I probably do, thanks to Sonya's calculations...where would I be without you?) for another piece, I didn't have Q-snaps the right size...so, I dug around in my stash a little bit more and came up with this one. It's called "Bird in Hand" from Blackbird Designs. I'm stitching it over 1 on 28 ct. Cream Cashel using Mixed Berry a limited edition from Crescent Colors. I am loving how this is turning out, and I wish Crescent colors hadn't made this a limited edition, I can think of a few different projects this would look fabulous on! So...I guess my list (that I just added to my blog earlier today) is changing a bit. I'm not sure what I'll knock off, but for now I'm adding this one on. I'll probably get a little more stitching done on this tonight, but I didn't want to be up at midnight (like I was last night) adding another blog post!! LOL I need my beauty sleep (cause things are looking a bit ugly on my end!) LOL
Ok, it's not even 8:00 PM and I'm ready to hit the sack. One good nights sleep and I think I'll be right as rain...let's keep our fingers crossed, shall we? Good luck to all the folks in the January challenge, we're nearly half way there!! See you tomorrow!

That was a lovely gift! And your new start is wonderful as well! I need to go dig through my basket and see what I'm going to start tonight!
Ahh DJ I know all about the near midnight blog post, I think all of my Crazies postings have been between 10pm and midnight. Love your addition, so that's now 16 starts in 15 days? Hope you are having a good nights sleep.
