Prior to that it was thought that it was an accident.

So obvious to all, but we were so unprepared because I think we never expected such an act.

A year or two years later, in August, we had a huge blackout in the East Coast and all you heard was "terror attack". It ended up being an issue in one of the power plants that generated power to many northeastern states.

My point is that our eyes were opened very quickly after 9/11. The innocence is gone :( Terrorism has become the first thing we think of now. We are always on alert. (heightened alert, orange alert, yellow alert).

Just my thoughts as a New Torker,
CSQ
betweenthestitches.blogspot.comCross Stitch Queenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17115835282712271618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2639209520319954752.post-29587569798334346082011-09-12T13:23:48.717-04:002011-09-12T13:23:48.717-04:00Amen.Amen.Edyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09891231764552459663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2639209520319954752.post-89225164865185069512011-09-11T10:04:26.565-04:002011-09-11T10:04:26.565-04:00In Whole Foods Market in Chicago, just about to st...In Whole Foods Market in Chicago, just about to start work and wishing I could hear the voice of my daughter in DC telling me that she was alright.

The WT was flying to NY yesterday so I was praying a lot in the stitching store!Gilliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13039155678428883554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2639209520319954752.post-53623122933798922102011-09-11T08:35:17.648-04:002011-09-11T08:35:17.648-04:00you have put it so well and I am there with you in...you have put it so well and I am there with you in spirit ...
