Joy and Peace!

After yesterday's fiasco I decided the best course of action was to lay low today.  I haven't done much today as the guys had plans and since I wasn't included, I stayed home and stitched.  Felt good for a change not to have to rush around and be somewhere at a specific time.  I received a nice phone call from a former coworker, it was nice to connect with a dear friend.

Just a little note for those who expressed your concern yesterday, I am feeling MUCH better today, though a little "hung over" from the pain meds.  I didn't need any today so that's a good thing!  Thanks for the kind comments.

I don't have any plans for tomorrow either so maybe I'll get even more stitching done then.  But for today, I was able to start AND finish another Little House Needleworks ornament, "Joy and Peace".

This is stitched on 30 ct. Straw from Weeks Dye Works over two linen threads using the recommended fibers.  This was a fun stitch, it reminds me of the first time I was able to start and finish reading a book in one day!  A great sense of accomplishment.  So, that leaves the rest of the day to stitch on something else.  Probably a SAL that needs to be completed by a certain date, or maybe a UFO (get a little ahead of the game).  Either way, I'm off to get some more stitching done!  See you later!

Lovely job with the ornament, and I'm glad you're feeling better. I can't remember the time I started and finished the stitching on something in one day, it must be a fabulous feeling of accomplishment. Maybe I should pick out a tiny project just to get that feeling!
